New Englanders are so cute with their hurricane anxiety. So folks, here’s a little present from the Floridian who has done this routine once or twice… & I promise it’ll make the whole hurricane weekend that much more fun. Hurricane Drinking Game Rules:

Drink two swigs every time someone sitting comfortably at the CNN studio tells newscaster in the elements to stay safe.

Drink anytime the newscaster says “hunkering down” or “hoping for the best, preparing for the worst”

One swig every time they switch to newscaster braving a 60 mile per hour wind.

Two swigs every time they interview a surfer or someone who decided to “ride it out” after the mandatory evacuation was issued.

Two swigs every time they switch to newscaster in a 70 mile per hour wind.

Three swigs every time they switch to newscaster in a 80 or higher mile per hour wind.

One swig every time a newscaster says devastate, devastates, devastation, devastating, or devastated.

Five swigs every time the newscaster says: “Whoa. We haven’t seen anything like this since Ivan.”

One swig every time the newscaster provides the obligatory warning for people along the coast to be extremely cautious while they are out getting hammered by wind and rain.
