Housewife Tip #1:
Don’t forget the garbage disposal! When giving your kitchen a good cleaning, the garbage disposal is usually forgotten but can be a bad odor culprit.
Here’s what I do to keep it fresh:
1) send a couple ice cubes down the drain & turn on the disposal to clean off the blades
2) pour a cup of baking soda followed by a cup of white vinegar down the drain. It’ll fizz!
3) send a couple more ice cubes along with some leftover fruit rinds- I prefer orange peels- & run the disposal once again.
Quick, easy & will leave your kitchen sink clean & smelling citrusy fresh :)
